Go Heavy On The Greens

Hey now Doc Rick here with a Start With Your Feet health tip. If you're making protein smoothies at home, go easy on the fruit and go heavy on the organic green veggies. The ones that I use are a combination of spinach, kale, celery, broccoli, and cucumbers. This will provide excellent nutrition, but will not raise your blood sugar compared to fruit. You can still add fruit to your smoothie, but let the majority be green veggies. Don't forget the organic protein powder to make it a complete meal replacement.
