Hey, now Doc Rick here with a Start With Your Feet health tip. With the coronavirus pandemic in our midst, a lot of people are afraid for their health and understandably so besides boosting your immune system, getting proper sleep and eating a low white flour diet. There is one big thing that you can do to really improve your defense against the virus, and that is to boost your lung capacity. How can you do that first refrain or quit smoking cigarettes. Second, start doing high intensity interval training daily for 10 minutes a day. My prescription calls for faster sprints at the end of the workout, which improves your lung capacity. Since the coronavirus targets the lungs and the heart, this technique is great. Self defense against it. A way to self check your lung capacity is to be able to hold your breath for at least 20 to 30 seconds. If you can do that, you will be on the right path to fight the virus.
