Doc Rick here with a Start With Your Feet, health tip. Do everything in your power to reduce your intake of bad carbohydrates and white flour, such as bread, pasta, cookies, and pastries. They all raise your blood sugar quickly. They turn into fat within your body and therefore cause weight gain and are also highly inflammatory. The key to good health is to keep inflammation to a minimum. I know it is not realistic to completely eliminate this food category, but do your best to reduce it as much as you can. One example would be having your hamburger or veggie burger without the bun and using a knife and fork to eat it or holding it between two leaves of organic lettuce. Don't fret. You can still put the same toppings on. Until next time, keep on walking and running strong.
