Doc Rick (00:04):

Hey, now Doc Rick here with a Start With Your Feet, health tip. When it comes to minimalist running shoes, you need to have the right foot type and the right conditions to use them safely for exercise. If you have anything other than a mild flatfoot, a minimalist shoe will either not provide enough support or enough cushioning, which will lead to problems. If you must use a minimalist shoe, I recommend using them on a padded track that is clean and flat without too much pitch on the turns. Until next time, keep on walking and running strong.
